What is KillAd?
As you may have noticed, many Internet sites love to open additional browser windows (so called "popups") with advertising contents. KillAd assists you to close all undesirable popups automagically. Being a phairly sophisticated sophtware phull oph pheatures, it is highly customizable, small in size, undemanding to system resources, fast, and (I hope) reliable.
Program status
The program is freeware.
Supported platforms
Windows 9x, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP.
Supported browsers
Netscape Navigator 3.x-4.x, Internet Explorer 3.x-6.x, Opera 3.x.
Installation

Sorry, no automatic installation procedure available. Create a folder (starting with v0.07 it is highly advisable to place all KillAd files in a separate folder), unzip the archive, and run the executable. You may want to place the program icon on your desktop or put it in the Start menu (Start Menu -> Programs -> Startup is a great place for that. In this case the program will start automatically each time you boot Windows). Consult your Windows manual how to do this. The program is shipped in the least aggressive mode, therefore you may want to adjust its aggression rate via the Advanced Options dialog.

Uninstallation
Since the program does not write anything into the system registry and does not put anything in other folders, no special cleanup measures are necessary. Just delete all files from the KillAd folder and the job is done.
